Yet at the same time ominous in the way that Dick, Slade, Rose, Lian, and Roy are forming into a family. Would give Bats and his own one formidable fighting enemy clan.
Isn't it ominous, though?
Slade vs. Bruce Dick vs. Tim (no contest) Rose vs. Cassie (close match) Roy vs. Jason Todd (?)
You have a delightful brain.
What really impresses me is how you hit the characters dead on. Dick torturing himself over Kory but still caught in the web of darkness he's willingly walked into, the logic of his resolve threatening to kill whatever decency left he has inside of him. Slade, masterful, doing what it will take to comfort his boy and make him his. Rose, equally manipulative, totally comfortable in the world of murder and death that his father had raised her in.
*flushes* I'm delighted that you think I'm getting the characters well.
And for all this....I still want some payback, damnit!!!
I'm sure getting that impression, yeah.
Let this family reel from the punches of a family gone vindictive: the family of heroes. Wipe the smugness from their mouths.
Have you taken greek oratory? Because damn, that was some impressive delivery. *applauds, and nods*
Ok, I stand by my word that I will have faith in your love for the DC Universe. Should get me through to the dark end.
Oh, good. *hugs*
However it may resolve, this is going to be one unforgettable epic.
Thank you very much, for the faith.
Last question, though: does your dislike of Babs mean that you'll have her easily executed?
*snort* Please. I leave the murder of characters I don't like to DC. *weeps for the League teamss that have died as a result of Infinite Stupidity etc* If I could find a highly logical, plot-centered gripping reason for Babs to die, and how in hell anyone would find her to kill her, I might ask Filly if we could... but, no. Nobody (barring, possibly, a few villains) is going to die in this for no better reason than my personal dislike.
