Kon snorted. "Riight. Fine. Thought you were an Arrow, not a Bat."

Theres so much bleed through in the families now, who can tell what one is?

Ollie had to shake his head. "You two are going to kill me," he groaned, falling back among the pillows.

No they’re trying to prevent that, whiner. Sides, there are worse ways to go.

Ollie groaned softly and touched her face. "Show us," he demanded softly. It wasn't often that Ollie took the lead, and Bruce just backed him, hands running over her possessively. For answer, she reached down and pulled off her blouse, shifting to remove the remainder of her clothing, taking her time at doing so. There were no marks on her that were not already firmly catalogued as being battle injuries or passion marks from themselves, as she settled between them again, lightly caressing Ollie's chest.

I love the reasurring that’s going on, here. It’s sweet, and the give and take wonderful.

"We'll call Lian when the call won't wake her," Roy said

I just love it when Roy is being a total Dad.

'I'm-your-friend-just-elect-me-and-find-out" range he had been practicing.

I so have an image of Ollie forcing Connor to listen to him give speeches and critique Ollie on tone, and posture, Connor of course wanting to be anywhere but there, but he’s being polite to his father.

Ted you bawled worse than me, the one time momma insisted you spank me for what I'd done

Dinah probably deserved it, but I love the image of big tough guy crying and Dinah reassuring him. Course that would probably work to keep Dinah behaving for Ted, knowing it’ll hurt him a lot to punish her.

"No, just, you both do that. Generally works pretty well, though."

Of course it does, the cooks are the ones doing the cooking.

"Something about seeing him fight like that...made me fight back too. Had a talk over the blade of a knife with Richard. Walked into Ollie's shelter the next day." She sighed. "That's why I'm sick. Because of that. Because I was a ..."

That was an awesome scene, and one of the first I’d ever had of Green Arrow and Mia.

Kon knocked on the door to the suite, and tried not to swallow hard when Ollie was the one to open it, dressed in pants and a hotel robe that was not belted tight enough. "Kon! Can I help you, son?"

Yum

She hugged him back. "I still don't do sidekicks," she teased.

"Sure Dinah."

Naw, you just teach htem better than half the folks who do have sidekicks in truth.

"So he'll think they're from Arsenal, and Roy will agree, and pretend to be smug," she said, as if it was obvious.

Oh the twisted ways of your mind Dinah. Wonderful logic, how many times have you had to clean up after Roy?

Kon skittered. Actually, now that she mentioned it, that didn't sound half bad...

Good boy, learn these tricks so Dinah doesn’t have to do them for you as well as her boyo

"What can I say? Being romantic runs in my family." Roy nuzzled into his lover. //Thank you , Dinah.//

Huh, musta skipped a generation.

Mia covered her mouth and giggled. "Like they're not already having enough sex to wear out a stud farm," she added.

Best line of the fic.
"You mad at me?"

"Well, no..."

Only wish Kon’d gotten something for Mia as well, maybe not even romantic, just a friend gift, but something for her..

Lovely as ever, can’t wait for more.
