The more I work this AU, the more I'm not certain that Dick came out of the serum entirely sane. He's... very, very hair-triggered, more than he used to be, in my head, and running on several levels. It wasn't doubting the existance of secrets that snapped him into submission, it was that he defended Bruce against Slade's word. That's why the extreme-ness of the apology, because he'd moved way, way too close to crossing back over that line within his own mind, if not externally.
Oh, eventually... Slade has plans, after all.
Lian is going to be awesome no matter what.
The problem is, Slade's not crazy... but yeah. Roy's kind of freaked at this point.
