"Rose read the invisible flow of body language between the other three young ones, and saw something that defied a normal explanation." Yeah, good call, Rose. *g*
And she hates not being able to read a situation. Really a lot. Daddy's legacy. Frustrated-Rose.
"Roy looked highly amused, mouthing back 'trio' to his lover." *g* Oh, ROY. Such a good, good boy.
*snicker* Dick didn't think so, right then. But that's okay, he loves him even(especially?) when he's bad.
*weeps joyfully.* OH, I love Raven, and you rendered her so well here.
*cuddles her Raven, hands you tissues* I love Raven, too. Does it show? Also, thank you so much. I love her so much I worry about getting her right.
*sniffle.* Oh, Timmy, honey.
Naah. Timmy's fine. He just has to be Robin right now, not Tim. He's not upset about it, if that's why you're going, "oh, Tim honey." Just... being the him the team knows.
Pot and Kettle, Dick, honey.
His own fuck-ups are one thing. Something happening to upset his little brother is quite another. And he points out that he and Roy were never exclusive, examples Chesh, Donna, and Grace.
A little harsh, Dick.
I think that line came out wrong. It was "Come on, Rae, come on...." damn near begging her not to hurt his... little sister. Whatever the hell she is to him. She's his--in a very not-sexual way--and he's being very overprotective. Not that that wasn't blazingly obvious....
I love you *remembering* that the Titans are supposed to be a family, and I adore you playing big brother to Rose, but Raven was your friend long before you went off and played house with Slade. You could have a little more faith in Raven - or any of the other Titans, actually - than that.
He has a great deal of faith in Rae. And perfectly justified faith at that. In all of them that are his, even. He just wants things to be okay.
But I adored Rose asking permission of Raven. . .and Raven's internal monologue was *perfect.*
It had to be Raven. She's the one with the most right to say no--and Dick reminded her that Raven's been there, done that. Also, you make me feel so much better. I worried about that piece like crazy. You rule.
Raven and Donna both deserve a medal for not slapping the crap out of Dick, though.
He would... probably have taken the slap, because he knows he hit some hot buttons with that, but he was willing to pull out all of the stops to make sure Rose was going to be okay.
True. Harsh. But *True.*
Yes, Donna had it right, and it was very true. That doesn't make Dick any happier about it.
"But once a Titan, always a Titan, psychotic fathers and drugs and insanity aside." *snicker.* Oh, Roy, honey. You win.
He certainly thought so. And obviously at some point along the way he swapped over to Dick's side. Probably from listening to Rose talking to the kids.
The Tim/Kon & Cassie was just beautiful and perfect. . and I actually *liked* Cassie, there. This. . is shocking. . .and alters my paradigm of the universe.
Filly's very good at that, isn't she? First Babs, now Cassie, and I even made you admit to liking Donna. *GRIN* How cool. And glad you thought it worked. I just can't wait for the reaction when Cassie finally figures out why Kon let go so easy.... *wickedly amused*
