more drabbles yet
You'd have THOUGHT I could get my drabbles done on my suddenly-off b/c of stupid allergies day, right?
Well, I got the last of the non-DC ones at least.
The DC crew is apparently on strike again.

He doesn't know how to deal with her... he sometimes doesn't deal with even the concept.
His daughter--a daughter he won't have for years, decades?--sent back through time into so much danger. There are days he wants to grab his older (should be smarter) self and ask what Endymion is thinking.
He's glad she's mostly gotten over that very-inappropriate... crush... she had when he they first met. Finding out he actually was her father had helped, probably.

He's not grateful. Not for himself.
Dom seems to think he should be, for some reason, but he's not.
The s.o.b. had been a damn cop all along, and that stupid shit he pulled to drag him off the truck doesn't change that a bit. Damn cop had been part of what threw them off, with how caught up in him Dom was.
He'd tried to warn Dom. Tried to tell him.
But... the s.o.b. that hit on his girl, broke her heart... had protected Dom. Had taken serious heat for him to keep him free.
For that? Vince's grateful.
