I wish my entire grasp of the English language hadn't just melted into a pool and poured out of my ears. That was incredible. Unbelievably done and just so beautiful and wrong and perfect and twisted all at the same time. Even with Dick so far gone to Slade to allow the Outsiders to be killed, he still fought and bartered to save Roy and Lian.
You captured Roy so amazingly. His internal struggle between the lover he'd known and the stranger in his lover's body and how he just couldn't let the Outsiders' deaths go until that something inside him just snapped.
What's strange is that I created an idea that is even more twisted and disturbing than this, but we're having a bit of a problem making Dick settle down to allow us to use it. So I'm going to have to just save this and read it over and over again.
I'm REALLY curious about how Slade and Lian will interact, strangely enough. But I love how Dick implies that Slade would protect Lian just to piss Cheshire off. That's so very Slade.
Again... just amazing. Completely in awe of you.
