Clark tensed. He knew that silky, poisoned pitch of Bruce's voice. Whatever Batman was about to say, it, not the beating, was the true coup de grace, the knife to the heart "--what finding his lover in his father's bed did to your son."

My favorite bit in the whole fic. I just love the delivery of it and the way it just made the ending flow. Ollie's realization was almost painful and so perfect.

I also liked the fact that Batman realized that he was partially at fault for causing Dick to jump in with Ollie. The whole "Oh my god I trained him to take orders" moment was nice.

I liked how you had him find out about the whole thing, having Batman know what goes on in his city worked very well.

Having Clark narrate the fight also worked very well. Getting to see both J'onn's and Clark's discomfort in response to Bruce's anger worked very well towards showing just how pissed Bruce was.

I also like that Ollie told Clark to let Bruce go so they could fight it out.

All in all, great fic. Loved reading it.

I think, especially after reading this, that Ollie needs to make some attempt to talk to Roy.
