Ahh, I can understand that. The movie was, eh, okay for me, but I like the series a lot better (it may have to do with my deep, fiery passion for Sam Carter, who... ass-kicking soldier scientist? Yes, please. :D), so I can understand that. And I agree, the movie took place in a slightly different universe. I think everyone agrees on that point, at least. :D
