See. ..on one hand, I suppose I should feel for Mia that her history lets her insinuate this so . . .easily, particulary at her age. But on the other? Watching the reactions are fun, so I don't feel too bad. *g*
*shudders at 14 year old Mia in her first appearance.* Tough cookie, is all I can say.
Oh, ROY. I love the rich history of Sneaky!Roy this conveys.
Roy is the awesome sneak.
*grins, amused.* I love that Dick's all "WE WILL TALK" and Roy's all, "That reminds me of the time. . ." It shows their personality differences well.
YAY!! Glad it came over...was trying a sharp contrast like that.
*laughs hysterically.* Why, yes, Mia, that should certainly clear up the "what."
*g* I think I messed myself up here...but then remembered that we could always OT3 Rae and the boys...
I feel the urge to point out the fact that they are playing an very elaborate game of footsie with their hands. . .ergo, proof that the denial of the Tim/Mia is futile.
Beards. For each other.
And Tim! Keeping the denial off his face. *snicker.* Even when the shock is something that great, he's all Stoic Bat!Tim. *g*
That was a priceless bit.
*g* I'm glad that Bruce is aware that Alfred will kick his ass.
One should always fear their father figure when he is of the awesomeness.
*snickergiggleflail.* Yeah, I have nothing constructive to add to this. Just that I love the conspiratorial glee of fingerplay underneath the table between Speedy and Robin.
Tapcode made sense to me...
And Oh! The Chili. Discussion of the Chili never grows old.
It had to come up...and will again if I remember.
But, Timmy, Dick can be won over with large puppy eyes and pouts. . .Bruce, not so much.
Unless they're Dinah or Ollie Puppy Dog eyes..
I could quote the entire section of the Power Girl/Protective Uncles scenario, but pretty much all I would be saying is "I love this!" over and over. I enjoyed the look into the Uncles (I love that it is plural) thinking she was making a mistake . . .and sending Karen. Oh, good Lord.
She asked if I was writing it, and I gave a polite Hell No I think...too much chaos in my head.
This, however, was my favorite part of the whole exchange: "Karen, not Ted...." She did not add that the fight with Karen had been over an insult to Barbara, after the nigh-invulnerable woman accused Dinah of having let Oracle twist her brain so far she could not think straight.
*g* Dinah never did get over the animosity between her best JSA/JLA gal pal and her lover partner...and that was too much.
*snicker.* Mostly, because I can see Dinah trying so hard to control her temper. . and Babs' slam being the straw that broke her reserve.
Yep...and that's also when Uncle Ted went 'oh crap'.
