Title: Magical Accidents (DC ficlet)

Title: Magical Accidents
Word count: 1428
Continuity: It's me, come on. Graduation Day? What Graduation Day? Or, roughly translated, late in The Titans. Also, post BoP 25 at least, if not 46.
Summary: Sometimes Deathstroke's cases and the Titans' problems don't run so far apart. ...That generally doesn't end well. But then, sometimes it does, too.

New Slade AU fic over at Merfilly's journal.

Separate Ways

This bit, even if I do say so myself, is a really good example of why I frequently call Slade Wilson a very stupid, broken man. So if you're interested... Really it's Wintergreen fic.

Or Rose fic, for that matter.

RP with [livejournal.com profile] tm_wintergreen, locked to the same

Saturday, Nov 29th

Slade had been prowling around the house, and to the eyes that knew him best there had been something riding on his shoulders since Wintergreen had arrived to set Thanksgiving plans in motion a few days earlier. He'd done a fairly good job of hiding any signs of it while the kids were there, and even when Addie was around... but now, home in Africa together, it was as though he wasn't trying to hide it -- and the restlessness was the most obvious sign.

Fic: Reminders

Title: Reminders
Characters: Maj. W.R. Wintergreen, Ret.; Joe Wilson.
Word count: 100
Continuity: Joe's about... sixteen. So... pre The New Teen Titans.

He's never seen the blank slate of Adeline's fury in her son's expression, oddly. When Joseph is angry, which is rare, the green goes hot, vividly sharp, and his jaw tightens into an expression he has seen far too often on another face.

There are moments Wintergreen wonders why the consummate professional that Adeline Wilson is has never tried to train that very blatant tell out of the son she's otherwise trained so well... then he remembers Adeline has fewer things to remind her of the man she does still love despite herself than he does, these days, and understands.
