Wally had pointed out the key to it all as well, showing Barry that overloading Bart with the Speed Force was likely the way to go.
I know this is a viable option for them, but it always seemed like a bad thing to overload someone with anything. But yay, the Flashes are coming home!
Dinah snuggled under Ollie's arm as they walked slowly toward the Needle. They had enjoyed the early part of the night, pleased the date was a costumed affair, as they had gotten to practice their skills on some toughs trying to ruin New Years. Neither of them had truly broken a sweat, but it was nice to wander the town where they had almost been perfect.
I have this wonderful image of Black Canary and Green Arrow wandering around with hot chocolate which they carefully put down in order to rough up toughs, and then picking it back up and cursing cause it got cold.
"For her," Barry said. "The only one of my team I could get us too...Dinah?!"
GLEEEEEEE!!!!!! They're ba~ack!
"Hell of an entrance, Bare...but could you not make my girl fall down like that?" Ollie said, just as shocked, but coping better. "Hiya, Iris."
Sidewalk was probably cold. And this just about doubles Dinah's dead friends come back total right?
"Oh damn....I mean, shoot..." Bart looked positively frazzled. "Great seeing you but I gotta go!" He vanished, then reappeared next to Wally, grabbing his wrist. "Come on, Titan's All Call!"
Love Bart's got his priorities right, but his actions are a little familiar.
"Yeah, just go," Bart said impatiently.
Impatient + Bart. Could it be?
Impulse to keep him still a minute, even as he leaned to kiss Linda.
Nightwing dropped remote and glass to whip around and vault the couch, Donna passing him up as she ran across the room, but he was still right behind her as they reached him. Roy barely fell behind them, as he followed. When he reached them, his arms were squeezing everyone together as the original Titans, minus one, reunited.
Original Titan's group hug. Y'all are saving Tempest right?
Robin--in echo of his elder brother--wrapped around both of them tight, and the girls shoved in to find ways to hold on, voices falling over each others'.
Young Justice for even more win! All of them together is so incredibly awesome, and wonderful and amazing and I'm running out of adjectives but Yeah!
Loved that Cissie and Mia didn't argue, and Mia is awesome at smoothing ruffled feathers.
Jay looked up to see the invasion into his home, and every feeling of miserable pain died away, seeing Barry there, surrounded by family. "By god, boy, that was you that gave me that headache," he said, standing from his chair.
Maybe they ought to of warned Jay? Might have been a good idea.
But oh! The interactions were fabulous, such a wonderful addition, even if I did miss the syrupy couple
