If anyone remembers Mercury (Kayla West) from

merfilly and I's "Duncanverse"....

...this is kind of how I see her looking.

Duncan, stop staring at your girlfriend, okay?

A while back, Cero_ate put the image in my head of Dinah in Slade's colors in RennFaire garb. *sigh*

Said image didn't go away. So I worked on it.

I prefer colored pencils, and couldn't get to a scanner, so the first version I did was in those.

I kept a b&w sketch, though, and played with a paint program. Here's the second version.

Thoughts?

Filly writes such wonderful things, I just have to try to illustrate them. In this case it's her fabulous Genderbender fic, which is just soo much fun, and required art.

So what do people think?
