When she decided we needed a Dick comfort scene, We both more or less agreed it needed to be Rose. Slade hated Star with a passion, even knowing Addie was not able to be saved. Dinah and Dick are having severe issues, over both Roy, and the potential threat to Babs he represents, and his resentment of her concerning Babs. Roy....don't look for comfort with teh man who was spared from that same massacre.
Still, even knowing what needed to be done, it tore me up to write Rose responding to Dick like this. He's so damaged, and her sanity is just in the early stages of settling down.
