#1 I love Give Them Kids fics. That's the main reason I ended up on the Lisascribbles and Imaginings Yahoo groups when I had that BtVS addiction.
#2 This kiddiefic obsession for some reason is most pronounced when involving Dick Grayson (and for some reason Xander Harris). As a matter of fact, you know those Guiltypleasures!fics? The ones you think about but never actually write? I have one that's pure crossover crack. It involves Meddlesome Cosmic Beings dropping Xander and Peter Parker in the middle of Bludhaven where, of course, they end up living with Dick (and driving Bruce ..heh..batty) and end up with lots of kids.
The genesis of this, aside from putting three of my favorite characters in one fic, was prolly to go back and stop/fix all the crap that happened to Nightwing during that period. One of those apologia make-it-better kind of fics for the Blockbuster Wrecks My Life arc. I'd get all the Nightwing I wanted and completely angst free. Score. There also may have been a significant subplot where Slade Wilson gets wished into the Buffyverse and the boys end up with the deaged/resurrected Wilson kids. Enter Grant, Joey, and Rose aged nine, five, and three and POOF. Daddy Dick.
I did say it was crack didn't I.
#3 You even mentioning two of my favorite Give Them Kids fics has me going back to reread them. (I was actually about halfway through Family Affairs when I checked my mail and saw your comment.) And the thought that you will now COMBINE those two verses is a very very happy making thought. Now if I beg for more of one of those, I don't have to pick between them. I get two in one. SCORE! again.
Therefore my love for you has reached new heights. It's actually, I think, getting a nosebleed.
