Apr. 18th, 2008 08:27 amTM prompt 226: Name three things that you're looking forward to in the near future and why.
Scrawled across a sheet of hotel paper, then shredded
1. Finally tracking down and having the badly-needed reckoning with my bedamned double. I almost hope who-or-whatever it is actually has managed to counterfeit my immortality... one death isn't going to be half enough to even the debt he, she, or it owes me. Given that the healing is obviously there...
2. Getting to know my son again. This once, I don't care how it happened, I am just going to enjoy having my son back with us. It may eventually mean I have to put up with the Princess again, but... more than worth it. So much more than worth it, Joe.
3. ...trying to mend things with my daughter. Something I should have been doing long before I left. Sending her away was necessary, no matter how furious it made Wintergreen with me. She'd already suffered more than enough, and to give Harper what credit he's due, he took good care of her. But now, after what that--mark of a broken pen--did to her... I have to try to fix what I caused between us.
