Not in timeline with the current plot, obviously.
1. Comment.
2. I ask you five questions.
3. Post the answers in your journal
1. What's your favorite weapon?
*chuckles* I've been told I get a bit ridiculous about keeping hold of my sword, I'll admit.
2. What's the furthest you've been from where you began?
Does off-planet count?
3. Are you a good father?
I haven't been. My wife would probably say that was an understatement, once she finished reminding me that it was ex-wife. I'm trying to be.
4. If you were in a band, what would it be called?
...you've got to be kidding. I leave music to my son.
5. Do you ever get mistaken for Deadpool?
Who, now? I've been mistaken for a few people in the business, but that name's not ringing a bell.
1. Tell me about your son.
I'll assume you mean Joseph.
How the child of two ex-soldiers (turned mercenaries) was born so gentle I will never understand; Joe's kinder than Addie or I could ever have hoped to be. But don't mistake the gentleness for a lack of steel, he's as strong-willed stubborn as either of us. Born after the army's experiment, he's as... unusual as I am, in different ways. Ways that saved his mother, his friends... and cost us his life for a time. Painter, musician, writer... there are reasons in plenty that my son has never in his life lacked for company, of whichever variety he prefers. amused look.
2. Coffee or tea?
Tea. Strong, sweet, and iced--or at least very cold.
3. What do you think other people remember you for?
Being a thorn in the Titans' sides, probably. Possibly the nuclear strike in Qurac--NOT my doing.
4. What's your favorite book?
The answer to that will always be 'The Art of War'.
5. If you could be trained in one subject, instantly, now, for free, what subject would you want to learn about?
...What a question. There's probably no way to be trained in the female mind's odder workings Metal-work. My armorers do fantastic jobs, but I would like to know how they do it better than I do.
1. Are there any assignments you regret having taken?
Of course, Kid. No, the HIVE's isn't, actually, one of them. I got exactly what I wanted out of that one, after all... and gained more than I could have imagined. All right. I could have done without the prison sentence, but *shrug* perils of the trade.
2. What would you tell Grant right now, if you could?
I don't know, Kid. Most of what I needed to tell Grant, I should have years ago.
3. As a father and not as a soldier, what would you say is the best thing about Rose?
*chuckles* That stubborn will of hers, probably. Not the temper, though. That she gets from me, after all.
4. Same question, but for Joey.
That he's kinder than his mother or I would ever be. Or have any interest in being.
5. Are you ever going to stop calling me "kid"?
Of course I'm not, Kid, barring using Grayson when I need you to pay attention. You're always going to be Joe's age.
1-What is this about you, Connor and Pretty Bird teaming up?
*chuckles* That's a story better told over alcohol, Queen. If you want it, come have a drink with me.
2-How are your kids doing? I don't hear much from the Titans these days.
They're good. Much better since we got Wintergreen back. Though I haven't heard from Rose in the last few days...
3-What are you planning on doing to your double when you catch him?
I'm not, quite, stupid enough to describe that to any hero. Eventually, however, I'll give him to Sarge Steel wrapped in a few feet of chain.
4-What happened after we left Vegas?
By the end of the month, I was in Israel, fighting a demon that had gotten loose during the Holocaust--don't ask. Wintergreen asked me for help, I went.
5-How are things working out with you having your wife back?
*Quick, true smile* Wonderfully. To put it mildly. At least, now that my old friend is back, as well.
Hero-world resurrections never cease to puzzle me, but... I'll take what I can get.until the world goes to hell again, at least
1-Are you ever planning to retire?
What would be the point? Spend the next however long bored to tears?
2-[locked]Do you need any assistance in your current work tracking down your double?[/locked]
[locked] If you hear anything, I would appreciate knowing[/locked]
3-What is your interest in Nightwing, anyway?
[locked] He's the best of all of them. Or at least, he was. Talent like that is worth appreciating, and training.[/locked] He was Joe's best friend. It's enough to make me care.
4-If you could do it all over again, would you have still joined the army?
Of course I would. My country was still worth serving, then. She still is, now, but you have to look harder to find the reasons why.
5-Favorite musician? Just for my files, of course.
+laugh+ But of course. Hm... Dean Martin, at the moment.

You are not inaccurate. On any of these points.
