I cannot hear them from the bathroom, though with the water not running yet I can hear enough to ascertain that they are speaking. First time I have wished for the senses I had in my madness, hearing that could have caught more than simply the bass tones of their voices.
I turn the water on deliberately, masking even that, waiting for it to warm.
