In a good way, naturally. :D This series is just taking my breath away. I love Love LOVE your characterizations of all these wonderful people. They're not just two-dimensional fictional figures on a comic book page. With the both of you (ilyena_sylph and merfilly) at the helm, these characters have been given the breath of life. God knows it's far far more than DC has managed to do recently. And the both of you are doing it beautifully. Serious kudos to both of you. It's fanfic authors like you, and several that I've discovered via you, that make me not afraid to say that I read fanfiction. Comic fandom needs more fans like you, not afraid to take a stand when something makes you scream "NO. NO NO NO." Even if there's nothing we can do to get DC to listen to us, fanfic authors like you make things a great deal more bearable.
Now excuse me while I go bask in the hotness that is Dick/Roy/Slade. ^_^
