*giggles.* I love again how their reactions to the situations demonstrate how different they are. Dick's all, "HURRY," and Roy's all, "We've been here before." *snicker.* I love them. And even more when their differences compliment one another, personality wise.
Dick is the one who's going to have Alfred mad at him. Roy, after all, is still considered a guest, and therefore indulged. But yeah. Even Dick admits to that they've done this a few dozen times. And yup, they're pretty well-matched.
I plan to insert much, much pervy commentary about the greatness of Mia/Tim/Kon later,

You took two characters who have pathetically little interaction - which is a crying shame, given their shared legacies - and woven a story in which I truly believe they are friends.
It is a crying shame, and I hate DC. Really a LOT, because they claim to be so all-about-archetypes, and yet they Fail, completely and miserably, in this case. And also... *so very flattered again* They've been spending quite a bit of time in contact over the last month, whenever Tim could, so they've gone from "hey, you're the only one here my age and not getting laid" to "you're really damned cool and know most of my secrets." We just didn't... show that part. I'm glad it worked for you anyway.
That's just all sorts of Wow. I mean, to me, Tim and Mia in canon are teammates, and eh, not very close ones. I think they both might actually be closer to Gar and/or Kory, which is weird.
*nod* In canon, that's exactly how they are. They're teammates, but that's about it... which I think is hogwash.
But you managed to make them buddies in a way that is still *in character* and feels *right.* It's one of those fanfic events where you read and go, "Goddammit, canon, this is how it should be, because this is how these people are." And I love that. I think, of the entire Happy Verse, it's the natural flow of friendship between them that is my absolute favorite thing.
