I bet, baby. It's better than keeping it bottled up, though. Oh, OW. THinking of the JSA-ties HURTS.

yeah, when it dawned on me that JADE was there is the moment I realized what I had done to the JSA

Alive, maybe. But far from okay.

Yena was evil for pointing out the conversation about Lian on the roof. And then it gave us the way Dinah got there first. Dinah knew when Slade made the argument who would raise Lian that he had her…and that was not going to work. She also figured other heroes would be closing in fast, to deal with Rose.

Oh, that bastard. It's too bad Dinah couldn't have made his death more painful.

That's insane Slade for you…another child, so much potential, take her young, train her right…

Eh, somehow I don't feel sorry for her, even if it's technically not her fault. She can go "recuperate" far, far away from Dick and Lian.

Her "rehabilitation" is being handed over to three men who are hurting very badly for the loss of their godchild. If she thought Slade was demanding….

Things that have possibly prompted this, other than the fact it's true: a.) The infamous junkie comment b.) The fact that he never bothered to pick up the phone after Donna's death despite all of Roy's pleading. c.) Knowing that he rested on his laurels while Deathstroke was free and didn't do a damn thing about it. d.) Roy's comments (circa Outsiders 16) that Dick was "going to get someone killed."

Possibly.

Oh. The self-loathing that comes through, there, redirected towards Rose? Is about ten million kinds of perfect. Oh, Dick, you precious, shattered little boy. I'm sorry. . .sorry that you're never going to reach the sunshine ever again, I don't think. No Marv for you, broken boy.

Vicious lash out, still. Living…no, existing for Lian alone at this point.

And she needs to know it's okay to cry. Don't be Batman, Dick. Don't give Roy reason to haunt your ass.

He's being what he knows…

*hugs Babs, too.* It's better to loose her this way, Babs, than the way you would have otherwise. Better she went down like a fighter than a bad Fifties' cliche of womanhood.

The bad thing was when Yena and I realized this was the Dinah that had flirted but not yet courted Babs…

Oh, J'onn. *thinks of JLA Year One, and weeps.* I don't. . . Ow. Just ow. And that Babs could be so much in pain that her voice cracked? *wipes own eyes.*

Los of pain to those who knew her.

And she'd have been right. *pets Dinah.* Good girl.

Family first.

Okay, seriously? Making Bruce comfort someone is always a sure sign that I am going to break down and cry. It's a sign that the situation is bad, and far beyond any defintion of the word I can give. It's just. . .ow.

Bruce wanted to go to Dick…and knew he was the last person Dick wanted. Babs had no one…so he stayed for her. And it ripped my heart out to know that was the logic.

And everyone else who walked into your life, too, Bruce. And they're all regretting it right now. *cries some more for Dick.*

Emotionally repressed son of a …. (pets Dinah, calms her down) yeah…

Oh. This feels so much like Kon that it really does feel like we're seeing the situation all over from an outsider's perspective. . . which makes it hurt even more. Ow.

Kon's impressions hurt worse than if I'd have been able to see in Dick's head right then…to know Dick was showing that much even as he clamped down like that.

*whimper.* Dick, honey, stop projecting.

Yeah.

Yeah. Poor kid. Her whole life sucks.

Lian…poor thing. Feel very bad for Cheshire when she gets stupid and tries to come take the girl away.
