Roy, I don't think, will ever be able to put aside all the ties he holds from his first life. Not even as he focuses more and more on being Renegade's.
And I'm glad it hit that way...It was part of the reason I chose Hammond to be the sacrificial lamb that required the blue and orange ones to intervene.
