The computer's voice informed him of another failure. He moved to the keyboard to change another variable, trying to work the miracle Cadmus had only managed once, again.

//Let this work...// Prayer was useless. Only will had a chance.

The words from his dream echoed through his mind again. //We stick together, no matter what, Kon.//

Re-reading that issue of Titans broke me in two . I think reading this broke me in four.

I really adore this for the *Tim*ness of the voice. He's falling apart, mentally and emotionally, that much is obvious. But more importantly, he's falling apart in a very *Timmish* way, which makes the pain of the piece all the more cutting, because it's very real.
