Here's the list
Christmas With Young Justice for
trunks_angel
Robin shook his head as he slipped into Young Justice HQ late at night, kicking snow off his boots, hearing the chaos that meant the whole team was in.. He'd been gone over the holidays, of course, between family and the insanity that was Gotham on holiday, but they'd agreed to get together today instead.
He walked into the den, and he couldn't help being dismayed by the disaster. //What on ear--Kon. And Bart.// It looked like a tinsel-monster had attacked and called in all of its ornament and light cousins to help. Every horizontal surface (and several vertical ones) in the main den were covered in sparkling Christmas cheer, reflecting crazily with no consideration for taste or good decorating habits, even his teammates were draped in stray bits of the decoration explosion.
"Robin!" Secret cried, floating over to him—and latching on as much as the ghostly girl could. "Make them stop!"
His two troublemaking best friends were nowhere to be seen, but as he listened for a moment, he found them. //Outside... singing?//
That was a problem. Kon couldn't carry a tune in a hermetically-sealed bucket, and Bart normally forgot that people couldn't understand him if he sang as fast as he wanted to. Sure enough, as the doors banged back open, Kon's off-key warbling and the buzzing chatter of a carol on repeat hit his ears and Cassie clapped her hands over her ears, wincing. "Robin, please..."
"B'fore I curse them into next week, mon, y'need to make them shut it," Empress growled, still picking bits of tinsel out of her hair with a furious expression. "Not even my holiday, mon."
"I'll work o—"
"ROBIN!" the carols broke off as Bart yelled and buzzed in to grab him and hug him, chattering something too fast to be understood.
"What?"
"Merry Christmahanakwanzaka!"
Robin shook his head, sorting out the different parts of the word. "Cute, Imp. You're driving everyone crazy, you know."
"But it's Christmas!!!"
"Yeah, Rob. It's Christmas," Superboy echoed, leaning against the wall with a... half-eaten giant candy cane //oh, Christ. Sugar high, no wonder// in hand. "And it wouldn't kill you to have some fun."
"Superboy, I'm going to kill you if you get sticky-stuff anywhere near my hair," Cissie threatened, sighting down an arrow at him.
Kon shivered theatrically, mocking her with it, and Robin dropped his head into his hand, shaking it.
Christmas with Young Justice... he should have known it was going to be a disaster.
A New Year's Alone, Kyle/Connor, for
greeneyelove
"Alone, finally," Kyle breathed a sigh of relief, arms wrapping around Connor's waist a little tighter.
"Kyle," Connor pointed out gently, "We're a mile and a half up over the middle of the Pacific and you left both our communicators at Ollie's. Of course we're alone."
"And now Superman's going to come flying by any minute," Kyle grumbled, and turned the shield around them completely opaque as he slid a hand up into Connor's blond hair, pulling him in to kiss him, holding on.
Connor kissed him back as his watch chimed midnight, Star City time. "Happy New Year, love."
Learning the Patterns, Bruce/Jason Blood, for
arch_schatten
Bruce was still shaking his head in frustration, muttering about the lack of sense in the form of magic they were currently studying when Jason simply laid his hands on his shoulders. "There is pattern," he told him. "You simply do not see it." His hands worked at the tension, standing close behind him.
"How can I see the pattern when it refuses to follow even the strange laws you've already taught me?" Bruce protested, turning to look at him.
"Look here, and here," Jason told him, tracing out pieces of the text with a fingertip, other hand still working on that shoulder as he explained again... and finally Bruce nodded once, sharply. "I see it, now," and laid out what he had put together in the more scientific terms he preferred, if obviously altered. The rephrasing made Jason wince as usual, but if that was what it took for Bruce to learn this, he would accept it.
He cared for this student of his, more than he ought, but something about his fire and his darkness had captivated even the demon that lived within him. No mere mortal had ever captured Etrigan's attention, but the driven, dark young man that had found him and requested (not demanded, though that had set hard with him) information on the ways of magic had done it. "Good, Bruce."
The small, tight smile and was as close as Bruce ever came to accepting praise gracefully, and he shifted back into the hand still resting on his shoulder, making the offer in his typically subtle way that now that work was done for the moment, there were other things to do.
Jason smiled and stepped back and Bruce slid to his feet, already moving close, and Jason pulled him into an embrace, silencing the Demon as it spoke inside him.
Monster Movie Marathon, Dick/Tim, for
wachey
The gleeful whoop from Dick's living room made Tim stick his head back out the door, abandoning attempts to find something healthy in Dick's fridge. "What?"
"Monster movie marathon!" Dick looked over the couch, grinning.
//Oh, dear lord.// He was only in Bludhaven because Dick was hurt, and trapped with an injured Nightwing had never been his idea of fun. But somebody had to stay with him or he'd hurt himself worse. "You're not serious."
"Hell, yes! Godzilla first, Frankenstein, the whole list!"
//I'm doomed.// "Dick…"
"What? Make popcorn, it'll be fun! C'mon, Timmy!" //Puppy eyes. Damn.//
"Okay, Dick. Sure."
Feathers, Dick/Tim, for
cero_ate
"Dick, Dick don't you dare!" Tim struggled against the zip-strips, cursing his "big brother" mentally. The wicked grin on Dick's face did absolutely nothing to reassure him.
"You started this, Timmy." Dick reminded him as he stuck his hand under the couch, one knee on Tim's chest, fishing for the feathers that had gotten lost in the scuffle.
"No, I didn't!" It was a bold-faced lie, but he also hadn't expected to lose, not in that contest. "Dick, damnit!"
"What'sa matter, Timmy? Ticklish?"
The stare that got made him start to grin. "You are," and he took advantage of it.

even his teammates were draped in stray bits of the decoration explosion.
*giggle* I’ve heard of parties like that, although that doesn’t usually happen until after the drinking starts.
"And it wouldn't kill you to have some fun."
You’ve obviously never read the Robin hand book, third edition.
Christmas with Young Justice... he should have known it was going to be a disaster.
But fun, right?
"Kyle," Connor pointed out gently, "We're a mile and a half up over the middle of the Pacific and you left both our communicators at Ollie's. Of course we're alone."
Never say that, someone will always find you if you say that.
Connor kissed him back as his watch chimed midnight, Star City time. "Happy New Year, love."
Awww, so cute.

Good teacher. Such a good teacher.
Tim stick his head back out the door, abandoning attempts to find something healthy in Dick's fridge.
Good Dick, healthy food the root of all that is evil.
//Oh, dear lord.//
My reaction exactly.
But somebody had to stay with him or he'd hurt himself worse.
Yup. That’s Dick for you. Silly boy.
//Puppy eyes. Damn.//
Manipulative Dick, very manipulative
The wicked grin on Dick's face did absolutely nothing to reassure him.
Um, duh? Dick’s scary when he thinks he has the upper hand.
The stare that got made him start to grin. "You are," and he took advantage of it.
Yay! Relax your brother Dick!
In short, awesome, and I’m sorry I’m so late with the feedback.

Date: 2007-01-16 06:51 pm (UTC)*laugh* No, they shouldn't.
*giggle* I’ve heard of parties like that, although that doesn’t usually happen until after the drinking starts.
It's Bart and Kon. They started early.
You’ve obviously never read the Robin hand book, third edition.
*wince* True.
But fun, right?
Oh, yes. Such fun.
Never say that, someone will always find you if you say that.
That was Kyle's reaction, yup.
Awww, so cute.
Yes, they sure are.
Good teacher. Such a good teacher.
He tries. But Bruce is enough to try anyone's patience.
Good Dick, healthy food the root of all that is evil.
Dick claims there's real food in there somewhere.
My reaction exactly.
*laugh* Not a bad B-movie fan?
Yup. That’s Dick for you. Silly boy.
Doesn't take holding still well.
Manipulative Dick, very manipulative
Of course he is. He knows how to work Timmy.
Um, duh? Dick’s scary when he thinks he has the upper hand.
Yes, yes he is.
Yay! Relax your brother Dick!
He does try...
In short, awesome, and I’m sorry I’m so late with the feedback.
Dudette, HON. Feedback is feedback, and therefore always appreciated.
