Generator Drabble

He'd thought he would never repay her. She'd saved his life, sanity... and more importantly, his spirit. She'd forced him out of self-hate and apathy, put him on the mats and the range (made him better) and given him back belief in himself... too much to ever repay.

But as she looked at him over the fashion magazines, he saw a fire in her eyes he hadn't seen in too long (not just the year she'd been gone) and her jaw firmed. "You're right, boyo... thank you."

Ollie might never forgive him... but the Canary was going to fly again.


That is my pre-emptive 'fuck you, Winnick'.
