Discovery, or fanfic again

I said I posted this to my lj, so I probably ought to do so.
This is NC-17, it's comic-book slash (male/male) fanfic, and if that's not your cup of tea (or you're underage, and you know exactly who I'm talking to, you!) please to leave now.
Thanks go out to amarin_rose and the_artist_19 who caught dozens of errors in characterization, repitivity, and plain lack of creativity.
Oh. Yeah. This is that sequel to Puberty, the Tim/Kon crack fic.
Title: Discovery
Pairing: Tim/Kon
Rating: NC-17

Re: Part Kon
Date: 2007-01-06 02:18 am (UTC)Wrote it before Crisis ended, praise gods. Or I'd have cried too hard to write it.
I love, love, love Kon's internal dialog. He felt so extremely teenage-guyish.
Thank you thank you! *beams*
His early frustration at having the (relative) comfort of his teenage world turned on its ear. . . followed by the slow dawning of the undeniable truth being fought with Kon-gusto. . and the eventual surrender to what they both wanted was tremendously well written.
Wow. Thank you SO much. That's the buildup I was after.
It really felt like I was inside Kon's head, so vividly were his thoughts described.
And thank you again. That's what I was aiming for. *beam*
(merely) A few of my favorite lines from him:
*grin*
*sigh.* I wish Smallville would do things like that. Because it makes so much sense for someone just coming into such extraordinary powers would have these reactions. In context of the story it works so well because it's one of a series of tiny, world-building events that makes the landscape of your story so rich, full and three-dimensional.
*bounces up and down and squees* Thank you so much! Figuring out what'd scared him awake was interesting.
Much the way I imagine the situation feels for a teenage boy. ;)
Yeah. Pretty much, that's how I think it ought to go...
Kon, honey? That's not just a clue you're infatuated. It's a huge, freaking neon sign.
Well, yeah. But he's kind-of in denial.
*gigglesnortflail.* Oh, Kon, just a tad.
Just a bitty-bit. And the marianas trench is a small crack in the pavement.
*g* It's good to know that teachers in the town that gave us Superman weren't any more kind than the 99% of the rest of the world's.
Nope, and most of them are still right there.
*G* Of course.
Freaked him the hell out, too.
Scar Kink FTW.
So. Much. Yes.
