This takes off immediately after the last scene with Deathstroke in Inheritance by Devin Greyson. Yes, that does mean it's going to diverge from the final few pages of the book. Don't ask me where my bunnies hop out of, it's probably a circle of hell.

Date: 2006-06-10 04:09 am (UTC)I liked how Dick kept flashing back to Roy while he and Ollie were getting into it. Their body build would be very similar because they are both archers. Loved it.
Loved how you wrote Roy more though. The surprise, the hurt, the anger. The idea of loosing himself in his former drug habit and then having the will to force the urge away.
I also liked how he could't truly be mad at Dick and how he felt guilty about causing Dick to slip into a state of shock.
I really liked being inside Dick's head for that brief period of time and the way Ollie snapped him out of it was truly Ollie.
Great job.

*beams* From you, who nails Roy every time she writes him, that means a very great deal. Thank you... That went from emotion to fingers without stopping to let my brain think about it. It was probably the fastest segment I wrote in the entire thing. Which is a little odd.
Mm. *nods* Yeah. he loves him too damned much.
*grins* Yeah... that was the fastest/best way i could think of to portray what happened to them... and Ollie was doing what he does best, going with his gut.
Thank you, again!
